The journey to Ambientia project began with the two shows in 2004. Since the debut performance in December of 2003 yielded all sorts of unexpected feedback from the audience, it was decided that the next series of shows would create the world of Ambientia.
Surrounding this fabled musical place is the idea that the music of Arms Full of Sound takes the listener on a journey. Each listener has their own unique journey.
The worlds created around this idea evolved into quite a complex array of characters and places:
The Traveler: The guide that first brought the listener to Ambientia. His own adventures shape the story-line, and that of the listener as well.
Ambientia: The mystical land ruled by music. This land seems to change depending on the experience of the traveler involved.
Morgea: One of the places along the way to Ambientia.
The Synthitone: The complex device that the Traveler build while on Ambientia. This device is the key to controlling travel on Ambientia, as well as interacting with places outside of Ambientia.
