Arms Full of Sound took some time off for 2005 as the man behind the keys, Paul Needler, took this time away from music to focus on his newborn son, Conrad. As time went on the itch to get back to it grew, and the ideas spawned an even larger project than The First Journey.
Continuing the Journey, 2006 was planned to be an event that lasted a whole year, spanning each of the four seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer, Autumn. The plan devised was one where listeners could now experience a whole year in, or on, Ambientia. It was now time to build the story and the place so that everyone can experience it.
Picking up right where The First Journey left off, the new project was launched in early February 2006 with two appearances on the radio. A promotional CD was produced for this event simply called “Journey to Ambientia: Seasons - WINTER” to promote the Winter show of the same name. The same format was followed for the SPRING chapter of the project, each time new songs were released on a promotional CD. To date, these CD’s have not been released for sale.
Drawing on the elements of “Letters From Ambientia” and “Sounds From Ambientia” the adventures of the traveler are told to the listener. A series of eMail blasts were sent out to those registered to keep up to date with these letters and other events.

Note: Summer and Autumn were never performed as The Ambient Ping venue closed down.

Since this project came to a halt unexpectedly it opens up new possibilities for continuation and a new shift in plot as far as the Traveler is concerned. It is safe to say that this project is not yet completed and is still ongoing. We wonder where is he is now after all this time and what he’s up to...
